GENERAL BILL by Wilson
HIV Testing/County Detention Facilities/Inmates [SPSC]; Requires the Department of Health to designate certain counties, if approved by the county's governing body, to participate in a program to test each inmate for HIV before the inmate is released if the inmate's HIV status is unknown. Provides that informed consent is not required for an HIV test of an inmate before the inmate's release from a municipal or county detention facility, etc.
