GENERAL BILL by Detert
Corporal Discipline/Inappropriate/Excessive [SPSC]; Includes inappropriate or excessively harsh corporal discipline in the definition of "criminal conduct" for purposes of protective investigations. Prohibits parents, legal custodians, or caregivers from inflicting such corporal discipline. Provides penalties and applicability. Includes offenses involving inappropriate or excessively harsh corporal discipline within the offense severity ranking chart of the Criminal Punishment Code, etc.
