GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Judiciary ; Joyner ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Wilson

Probate Procedures [SPSC]; Imposes additional duties on the lessor of a safe-deposit box relating to the contents of the box when the lessee has died. Provides for the inter vivos transfer of homestead property. Clarifies provisions relating to which laws apply when determining intestate succession in certain circumstances. Provides for the temporary construction of the terms of a will that has specified provisions with respect to federal tax, etc.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
