SB 1800: HIV Testing in the State Correctional System [SPSC]
GENERAL BILL by Wilson
HIV Testing in the State Correctional System [SPSC]; Requires the DOC to perform an HIV test upon inmates upon entry into prison. Requires the department to record the results of an inmate's HIV test in his or her medical record. Requires an HIV-positive inmate to participate in an education program regarding HIV. Provides that the state and its agencies, subdivisions, and employees are not liable for the death or personal injury of an inmate arising from compliance with the act, etc.
