SB 1836: Title Insurance [CPSC]
GENERAL BILL by Baker
Title Insurance [CPSC]; Creates the Division of Title Insurance in the DFS. Provides for administration of title insurance and general provisions. Establishes the Bureau of Title Insurance Premium Rates and Forms and the Bureau of Title Insurance Licensing and Education within the division. Preempts to the state the regulation of title insurance, title insurers, and title insurance agencies. Provides for civil remedies against title insurers, etc.
