SB 1860: Attorney Representation for Children [SPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Altman

Attorney Representation for Children [SPSC]; Requires that the clerk of the court provide public records at no charge to an attorney appointed to represent a child. Adds the promotion and protection of legal rights to the list of protections provided to children. Requires the court to appoint an attorney for the child before involuntary placement of the child. Provides for the court appointment of an attorney or guardian ad litem for a child in delinquency proceedings, etc.
