GENERAL BILL by Altman
Metropolitan Planning Organizations [CPSC]; Requires the designation of a metropolitan planning organization for each urbanized area of the state meeting a certain population threshold. Provides processes for the redesignation of an M.P.O. Requires that a metropolitan transportation planning process be continuous, cooperative, coordinated, and comprehensive. Specifies prevailing principles to be considered by an M.P.O. during the development of a transportation improvement program, etc.
