SB 2676: Child Welfare [SPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Storms

Child Welfare [SPSC]; Provides that the circuit court has exclusive jurisdiction over a petition for an injunction to prevent child abuse. Requires the DCFS to conduct a juvenile delinquency records check and an out-of-state criminal history records check, if that state allows the release of such records, of certain persons before placement of a child. Establishes the Child Safety Assessment Workgroup for the purpose of developing a safety assessment process, etc.
