SB 980: Interpreters and Transliterators [SPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Wise

Interpreters and Transliterators [SPSC]; Requires the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind to designate an entity to issue credentials to interpreters and transliterators who provide services for persons who are deaf or hard of hearing. Requires that a person who provides interpreting or transliterating services possess a credential issued under the act. Requires that the credentialing entity establish the Interpreters for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Advisory Board, etc.
