Estate, Inheritance, and Other Death Taxes; Cites this act as the "Florida Taxpayers Protection Act." Provides definitions. Imposes a retaliatory tax on property of a nonresident decedent when the nonresident's state of domicile imposes estate, inheritance, or other death taxes upon a resident of this state. Provides a limitation. Specifies tax rate criteria. Provides tax payment requirements. Provides application.
Effective Date: July 1, 2011, and applies to nonresidents who die after June 30, 2011
