CS/SB 1088: Criminal Conduct
GENERAL BILL by Children, Families, and Elder Affairs ; Altman ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Detert
Criminal Conduct; Defines the term "mental injury" with respect to the offenses of abuse, aggravated abuse, and neglect of a child. Requires that a person acting as an expert witness have certain credentials. Conforms cross-references. Redefines the term "crime" for purposes of crime victims compensation to include additional forms of injury. Redefines the term "victim" to conform with the modified definition of the term "crime."
