CS/CS/SB 1174: Exemptions to Water Management Requirements

GENERAL BILL by Environmental Preservation and Conservation ; Agriculture ; Siplin ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn

Exemptions to Water Management Requirements; Revises an exemption for agricultural-related activities to include certain impacts to surface waters and wetlands. Provides that the exemption applies to certain agricultural lands and certain activities requiring an environmental resource permit and does not apply to specified permitted activities. Provides exclusive authority to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to determine whether certain activities qualify for an agricultural-related exemption under specified conditions, etc.
