SB 1356: Medicaid Eligibility
GENERAL BILL by Jones
Medicaid Eligibility; Provides asset transfer limitations for determination of eligibility for certain nursing facility services under the Medicaid program after a specified date. Requires the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) to take certain actions if a community spouse refuses to make certain resources available to the institutional spouse. Authorizes the Agency for Health Care Administration to recover certain Medicaid expenses. Authorizes the DCFS to adopt rules.
