LOCAL BILL by Jones

Pinellas Planning Council, Pinellas County; Codifies, amends, reenacts, and repeals special acts relating to the district. Reorganizes the council. Sets forth the purpose of the council. Provides legislative intent that the countywide plan be broadly defined and policy-based. Provides that the primary focus of the council will be land use and transportation planning. Provides definition. Provides that the membership of the council shall be the same as that of the Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization, etc.

Effective Date: upon becoming law/approval MPO's reapportionment plan, whichever occurs later
