SB 1644: Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
GENERAL BILL by Latvala
Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; Specifies that the executive director of the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles serves at the pleasure of the Governor and Cabinet. Authorizes the executive director to establish a command, operational, and administrative services structure to assist, manage, and support the department in operating programs and delivering services. Creates a Division of Motorist Services within the department. Eliminates the Division of Driver Licenses and the Division of Motor Vehicles, etc.
