SB 208: Persons With Disabilities

GENERAL BILL by Fasano ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Gaetz

Persons With Disabilities; Provides that persons with developmental disabilities have a right to be free from negligence. Specifies that entities as well as individuals are liable for damages. Prohibits the operator of a public lodging or food establishment from discriminating on the basis of disability. Applies administrative and civil remedies available under the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992 to certain violations against persons with disabilities. Creates the "Floridians with Disabilities Act," etc.
