GENERAL BILL by Bullard
Practice of Optometry; Authorizes the Board of Optometry to adopt rules relating to the administration and prescription of oral medications used for the diagnosis and treatment of ocular conditions of the human eye and its appendages. Authorizes certified optometrists to administer and prescribe such oral medications. Requires that a prescription for an oral medication contain the optometrist's prescriber number. Authorizes the board to certify certain applicants to administer and prescribe oral medications, etc.
