SB 542: Nursing Home Diversion Program
GENERAL BILL by Bennett ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Smith
Nursing Home Diversion Program; Directs the Agency for Health Care Administration to expand the nursing home diversion program to include Medicaid recipients who meet certain criteria. Specifies locations for phased-in implementation of the program. Revises conditions for enrollment in the program. Provides for Medicaid recipient choice with regard to contractors. Requires the Department of Elderly Affairs and the agency to seek federal waivers to limit the number of nursing home contractors in additional locations, etc.
