PROPOSED BILL by Budget

Criminal Justice; Repeals provisions relating to the Cybercrime Office within the Department of Legal Affairs. Limits the number of hours in the basic recruit training program required for correctional officers, unless the officer is otherwise exempt. Repeals provisions relating to the basic training program for youthful offenders within the Department of Corrections. Transfers and reassigns functions and responsibilities of the Cybercrime Office from the Department of Legal Affairs to the Department of Law Enforcement.
