SPB 7176: Department of Children and Family Services
PROPOSED BILL by Budget
Department of Children and Family Services; Revises provisions relating to the department's duties with respect to domestic violence. Provides that annual certification of domestic violence centers depends on a favorable review by the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Authorizes the coalition to enter and inspect centers for monitoring purposes. Requires the department to contract with the coalition for the management of domestic violence service delivery and the monitoring of centers, etc.
