SB 718: Sexual Exploitation

GENERAL BILL by Ring

Sexual Exploitation; Requires delivery of children alleged to be dependent and sexually exploited to short-term safe houses. Provides for a presumption that placement of a child alleged to have been sexually exploited in a safe house is necessary. Requires assessment of certain children for placement in a safe house. Requires districts of the Department of Children and Family Services to address child welfare service needs of sexually exploited children as a component of their master plans. Allows victim compensation for sexually exploited children, etc.
