SB 990: Motor Vehicle Title Loans
GENERAL BILL by Bennett
Motor Vehicle Title Loans; Provides a directive to the Division of Statutory Revision. Repeals provision relating to a short title. Preempts the regulation of motor vehicle title loans to the state. Provides that title loans are secured by a nonpurchase money security interest in a motor vehicle. Prohibits a title loan lender from also providing deferred presentment transactions. Revises the information that must be in a title loan agreement, etc.
