GENERAL BILL by Gibbons ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Jenne ; Williams
Early Voting; Expands list of available sites at which early voting may be held; deletes requirement that early voting site be designated & used as such for at least 1 year before election; requires that each county operate certain number of voting sites; revises beginning & ending dates of early voting; revises hours of early voting to 12 hours per weekday & 12 hours in aggregate each weekend at each site during applicable periods; deletes provisions that authorize supervisor of elections to provide early voting for certain elections & to determine hours of operation of early voting sites in those elections.
