Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation; Revises legislative intent; expands prohibition against filing of SLAPP suits to private individuals & businesses as well as governmental entities; authorizes special motion to dismiss, motion for judgment on pleadings, & motion for summary judgment for expedited disposition of SLAPP suits; shifts burden of proof; provides immunity from civil liability for acts in furtherance of constitutional right to petition; provides for award of attorney fees & court costs & additional damages; limits punitive & other damages.
