GENERAL BILL by Sobel
Veterans Affairs; Citing this act as the "Veterans Protection Act"; prohibiting a person from acting as a representative, agent, or attorney in the preparation, presentation, or prosecution of any claim on behalf of a veteran of the United States Armed Forces under any law administered by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs unless such person has been issued proper credentials or accredited for such purposes; requiring the Department of Veterans' Affairs to adopt rules establishing civil penalties; specifying controlling provisions with respect to conflicts between the act and federal law, etc.
