GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Richter
Annuities; Providing that recommendations relating to annuities made by an insurer or its agents apply to all consumers not just to senior consumers; revising the information relating to annuities that must be provided by the insurer or its agent to the consumer; prohibiting specified charges for annuities issued to persons 65 years of age or older; increasing the period of time that an unconditional refund must remain available with respect to certain annuity contracts, etc.
