HB 1493: Postsecondary Education Tuition
GENERAL BILL by Pilon
Postsecondary Education Tuition; Provides that dependent child who lived in state with parent before parent's death & who continues to live in state with adult who is not child's parent while completing requirements for high school diploma may qualify as resident for tuition purposes regardless of whether parent who does not live in state claims minor as dependent pursuant to federal income tax provisions.
