GENERAL BILL by Montford
Public Education; Citing this act as the "Public Education Innovation and Efficiency Act"; providing an exemption from certain statutes in chs. 1000-1013, F.S., and corresponding administrative rules for school districts; authorizing a school district, upon a super majority vote by the district school board, to apply for a waiver from any statute for a specified period after approval by the Commissioner of Education and the State Board of Education; providing that a school district may be granted a waiver from certain statutes governing school or school district operations and policies if the commissioner and the State Board of Education agree, etc.
