State-owned or Leased Space; Revises provisions requiring development, maintenance, & reporting relating to automated inventory of state-owned or state-occupied facilities & provides procedures, requirements, & agency responsibilities with respect thereto; defines terms "managing entity" & "tenant broker"; authorizes DMS to direct state agencies to occupy space in state-owned building; authorizes DMS to implement renovations of projects in order to efficiently use state-owned buildings; revises contents of master leasing report; authorizes state agencies to use services of tenant broker to provide information to DMS; requires title entity or managing agency to report vacant or underutilized space; requires DMS to adopt procedural rules; reduces amount of square feet agency may lease without DMS approval; requires state agency to use tenant broker to assist with lease actions; requires lessor of state-leased space to provide documentation relating to compliance with uniform firesafety standards.
