Medical Negligence Actions; Providing circumstance under which patient records may be released without prior written authorization; revising conditions under which confidential patient information acquired in the course of care or treatment may be disclosed by a health care practitioner; revising the form for the authorization for release of protected health information; authorizing certain individuals and entities to conduct ex parte interviews with the claimant’s health care providers, etc.
