HB 1369: Stop-Payment Orders

GENERAL BILL by Schwartz

Stop-Payment Orders; Provides that stop-payment order remains in effect permanently unless bank receives written notification of cancellation of such order & payment of applicable fee; prohibits bank from charging more than single fee for stop-payment order to remain in effect permanently; revises provisions relating to notices given to banks of postdating of checks, to conform.
