GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Rules ; Community Affairs ; Ethics and Elections ; Latvala

Campaign Finance; Repealing provisions relating to the certification and political activities of committees of continuous existence; requiring certain individuals seeking a publicly-elected position on a political party executive committee to file a report with the supervisor of elections before the primary election; requiring the Division of Elections to submit a proposal for a mandatory statewide electronic filing system for certain state and local candidates to the Legislature by a specified date, etc. APPROPRIATION: $127,900

Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act and except for this section, which shall take effect upon becoming a law, this act shall take effect November 1, 2013
