Employment Discrimination; Creates "Helen Gordon Davis Fair Pay Protection Act"; makes legislative findings relating to equal pay for equal work for women; recognizes importance of DEO & FCHR in ensuring fair pay; requires DEO to conduct studies & provide information to employers, labor organizations, & public concerning means available to eliminate pay disparities between men & women; creates Governor's Recognition Award for Pay Equity in Workplace; requires that award be made annually to businesses that have engaged in activities that eliminate barriers to equal pay for equal work for women; requires DEO's executive director & FCHR's chairperson to work cooperatively with the EOG to create eligibility criteria for employers to receive award.
