Mandatory Supervision for Violent Offenders; Provides legislative intent; specifies that certain offenders may only be released under mandatory supervision; redesignates "conditional release" as "mandatory supervision;" specifies that certain offenders may only be released under mandatory supervision; requires Parole Commission along with DOC to develop report to track offenders placed on mandatory supervision & their rate of return to prison for new crime or technical violation of probation; conforms provisions.
