SB 1040: Restitution for Juvenile Offenses
GENERAL BILL by Detert
Restitution for Juvenile Offenses; Requiring a child’s parent or guardian, in addition to the child, to make restitution for damage or loss caused by the child’s offense; authorizing the parent or guardian to be absolved of liability for restitution in certain circumstances; authorizing the court to order both parents or guardians liable for the child’s restitution regardless of one parent having sole parental responsibility, etc.
