SB 1404: Juvenile Sexual Abuse

GENERAL BILL by Sobel

Juvenile Sexual Abuse; Requiring that an alleged incident of juvenile sexual abuse involving a child who is in the custody or protective supervision of the Department of Children and Families be reported to the department’s central abuse hotline; requiring the department to assist a family in receiving appropriate services to address a report that alleges inappropriate sexual behavior; requiring Children’s Legal Services to notify all parties to the dependency proceeding if a child involved in a report of child-on-child sexual abuse is known to the department, etc.
