SB 1504: Animal Cruelty

GENERAL BILL by Abruzzo

Animal Cruelty; Adding state attorneys to the list of entities authorized to file a petition in county court requiring the court to hold a hearing to determine whether an animal owner is able to care for the animal; requiring a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment for an act of aggravated animal cruelty; providing that it is a crime to keep an animal in an enclosure without wholesome exercise or exchange of air, etc.
