GENERAL BILL by Children, Families, and Elder Affairs ; Health Policy ; Grimsley ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Diaz de la Portilla

Certificates of Need; Decreasing the subdistrict average occupancy rate that the Agency for Health Care Administration is required to maintain as a goal of its nursing-home-bed-need methodology; providing that, under certain circumstances, replacement of a nursing home and relocation of a portion of a nursing home’s licensed beds to another facility, or to establish a new facility, is a health-care-related project subject to expedited review; repealing provisions relating to the moratorium on the approval of certificates of need for additional community nursing home beds, etc.
