GENERAL BILL by Hutson

Animal Cruelty; Adds state attorneys to list of entities authorized to petition county court to require hearing to determine whether animal owner is able to care for animal; revises penalties for animal cruelty & aggravated animal cruelty; provides that it is crime to keep animal in enclosure without wholesome exercise or exchange of air; authorizes specified entities to petition for injunctive relief against persons, organizations, or corporations violating specified provisions.
