GENERAL BILL by Soto

Economic Development; Providing a corporate tax credit against the state corporate income tax in an amount equal to a specified percentage of the corporation’s payments to a small business providing goods or services to the corporation pursuant to a contract; specifying the amount of the tax credit; prohibiting tax credits from being carried forward or backward or being transferred or sold; providing criminal and administrative penalties for fraudulently claiming tax credits, etc.
