HB 897: Mobile Home Park Lot Tenancies

Mobile Home Park Lot Tenancies; Revises requirements of prospectus or offering circular to include additional statement on front cover or first page after specified date; requires park owner to give written notice before reducing amenities; provides that homeowners' association does not have standing to challenge reduction in amenities unless agreed to by majority of homeowners; expands notice to include certain information if amenities are reduced; adds requirement for meeting within 30 days after receipt of notice that amenity is reduced; clarifies that committee required to be designated may not exceed five mobile home owners; requires disclosure of material factors that resulted in reduction of amenities; provides circumstances under which mobile home park owner may evict mobile home owner, mobile home tenant, mobile home occupant, or mobile home due to change of use or rezoning; increases number of days available for mobile home owners to purchase park; repealing provision relating to homeowner of concrete block home in mobile home park being part of homeowners' association.
