Guardianship; Reorganizes provisions in ch. 744, F.S.; revises responsibilities of executive director for Office of Public & Professional Guardians; removes authority of executive director to suspend or revoke registration of guardian who commits certain violations & requirement of written notification to chief judge upon such action; requires office to adopt rules & make specified recommendation to court; requires that professional guardian appointed to represent ward be selected from registry of professional guardians; requires chief judge of circuit court to compile list of professional guardians; provides requirements for inclusion in registry; provides procedures to appoint professional guardian; provides Office of Public and Professional Guardians with access to records relating to guardianship cases for which professional guardian is appointed.
