SB 1674: Bear-resistant Garbage Receptacles

GENERAL BILL by Sachs

Bear-resistant Garbage Receptacles; Requiring the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to adopt rules, by a specified date, which establish standards for the designation of areas of high human-bear conflict and that designate certain garbage as bear-attracting garbage; prohibiting, as of a specified date, the deposit of bear-attracting garbage into receptacles other than bear-resistant receptacles in high human-bear conflict areas, etc.
