GENERAL BILL by Passidomo
Florida Government Support Organizations; Prohibiting the Florida Commission on Community Service from entering into a contract if a commission member or his or her immediate family member would receive a direct financial benefit from such contract; authorizing the Department of Economic Opportunity, rather than Enterprise Florida, Inc., to establish a cooperative advertising matching grants program, make certain expenditures, and enter into contracts with local governments and nonprofit corporations for a specified purpose; requiring the department to establish a direct-support organization known as the Florida Sports Foundation to assist the department, rather than the Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development, with specified duties, etc.
