Expunging and Sealing Criminal History Records; Establishing a nonjudicial expunction process within the Department of Law Enforcement for specified criminal history records; providing that an expunction under this section has the same effect as a record expunged under s. 943.0585, F.S.; providing that any reference to any other chapter, section, or subdivision of the Florida Statutes constitutes a general reference under the doctrine of incorporation by reference; providing jurisdiction of the courts over expunction procedures, etc. APPROPRIATION: $500,000
