GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Children, Families, and Elder Affairs ; Broxson

Child Welfare; Requiring the Department of Children and Families to establish rules for granting exemptions from criminal history and certain other records checks required for persons being considered for placement of a child; revising minimum requirements for child care personnel related to screening and fingerprinting; defining the term “severe disability"; providing an exemption from fingerprint requirements for adult household members with severe disabilities, etc.
