Motor Vehicle Insurance Online Verification System; Requires DHSMV to establish system for online verification of motor vehicle insurance; provides system requirements; requires insurers to cooperate with department in establishing & maintaining system; provides requirements relating to registration of motor vehicles; authorizes department to verify certain information; requires insurers to transmit certain information to department; authorizes department to implement method of insurance verification; authorizes law enforcement officers to access insurance information at traffic stops & crash investigations.
