GENERAL BILL by Health Policy ; Gibson ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Torres

Diabetes Educators; Redefining the term “health care practitioner” to include diabetes educators; creating part XVII of ch. 468, F.S., entitled “Diabetes Educators”; providing requirements for registration as a diabetes educator; prohibiting an unregistered person from certain activities relating to diabetes self-management training; authorizing the department to take disciplinary action against an applicant or registrant for specified violations, etc.
