SB 1866: Misconduct by Law Enforcement Officers

Misconduct by Law Enforcement Officers; Requiring law enforcement agencies to collect and report specified data to the Department of Law Enforcement concerning the use of force incidents and other interactions with the public; requiring law enforcement agencies to establish early intervention systems for officer misconduct; requiring the Department of Law Enforcement to establish a program that standardizes definitions of, training related to, and consequences for misconduct by law enforcement officers; requiring revocation of the certification of a law enforcement officer in certain circumstances involving the unlawful use of force, etc.
