Motor Vehicle and Vessel Registration Data; Requiring tax collectors, third parties contracted with tax collectors, and license tag agents to enter into a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles and make certain determinations regarding registration applicants; requiring the department to ensure that certain technology used by tax collectors protects customer privacy and data; authorizing the department to provide certain technology to tax collectors, upon request, in order to provide data access and uniform interface functionalities for registration renewal transactions; authorizing the department to provide certain technology to tax collectors, upon request, in order to provide data access and uniform interface functionalities for registration renewal transactions, etc.
